ODD-900-002 Overview

In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Digi-Reel?. Photodiodes are packaged in SMD/SMT packages in order to ensure their safety. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 170V. A photodiode should not operate at a temperature higher than 85°C. There should, however, be a minimum operating temperature of -25°C for the photodiodes. There is 5nA current flowing through a photodiode even in the absence of light input.
